Join Excelsior's crew for an unforgettable trip up to Denmark for the start of the Sailing Training International Tall Ships Races. Suitable for ages 14 up, no experience is required for this as you'll be on board long enough to really get to grips with sailing and being at sea. Sailing for the whole trip length, you'll be put into a watch system with specific duties; expect to spend at least 4 hours on deck and 8 hours either sleeping or taking care of the domestic duties, including cooking and cleaning.

About your destination: Wave a fond farewell to Lowestoft and land for the start of your 8-day voyage across the North Sea, to Germany where you'll transit the Kiel Canal and into the western end of the Baltic Sea. From there you turn north east and up under one of the bridges that connect the Jutland peninsula and Zealand, the two main areas of Demark, or Denmark to Sweden. If threre's time, you'll stop off along the way at some of the many small islands that make up the Danish Realm. Your destination, Aarhus will be in full preparation for the Tall Sips Races with many of the vessels already in port and the festivities under way. Expect a warm welcome from organisers, other crews and locals alike.
